Automatic Energy Measurement System

(SAMEE) for INDE

This project, deployed for INDE's Empresa de Generación de Energía Eléctrica, included the supply, installation and implementation of 122 energy meters in 55 different measure point across the country, most of which included not only their installation but also the installation of transformers (potential and current), covering a range of 2.5 KV up to 138 KV.

The system covers not only measurement equipment by itself, but also the communications network associated, using different media such as digital microwave, conventional telephone lines and cellular lines.  A data center was also setup for the collection, analysis and report of data, both for billing internal users as well as for delivering data required by AMM.
